Thank you, Maestro Gilbert, for donning the Michigan cap and having the wonderful trumpet and trombone sections stand and play Hail to the Victors! A fitting end to a fabulous but all too brief residency this weekend.
Rumor has it that there will be a longer residency in the future . . . we couldn’t ask for better practical instruction to U of M students, or for more spectacular full orchestral treats.
